This beautiful beach is located 100 km south of the city of Veracruz, the northernmost point on the coast of Los Tuxtlas, where forest, beach, sea and sky come together, which to arrive it is necessary to take a boat from Montepío, horseback riding or walking. Because of its difficult access, Playa Escondida has not hosted service, so can camp or move to Catemaco, Santiago and San Andres Tuxtla. By Road:

Veracruz is located in the coastal plain of the Gulf of Mexico, 405 km from the capital and 109 km from Xalapa by the federal highway 140.
From Mexico City, the capital, you can take the tracks Mexico-Puebla-Xalapa or Mexico-Orizaba-Veracruz. The car journey lasts approximately 4 hours. It is recommended not to drive at night.
