The road distance between Cancun and Mexico City is 1,652 kilometers. By air:
Cancun International Airport receives more than 80 daily flights from Mexico City (1 hour 45 minutes or so) and some major US cities such as New York (4 hour flight, approximately) or Miami (1 hour 30 minutes, approximately). The airport has two terminals, one for commercial flights and one for charters. It is located at kilometer 22 of the Cancun-Chetumal highway, about 10 kilometers from the hotel zone, distance covered in 15 to 20 minutes by car.
