The best place to snorkel in and around Puerto Angel is the Playa la Tijera, which is quite retreat. A 9.7 km from Puerto Angel towards Pochutla is the Colorado community. At the end of this town and turning to the right is a paved road 1.3 km arriving at the El Vigia community. Following right continue the remaining 8.2 km of travel by an almost untouched nature until you reach the Playa la Tijera in which few meters before the beach there is a small parking lot. This dirt road the arranged every year after season showers. Still it is recommended high vehicles.The area from El Vigia to the beach is deserted. Do not forget to bring at least drinks! The simplest and most practical would take part in a tour boat. Every morning the boats leave from Playa del Pantheon (Puerto Angel). Most hikers already have the Playa la Tijera in your program. By Road:

Puerto Angel is located south of the city of Oaxaca, 250 kilometers above the federal highway No. 175. In the City of Oaxaca, on a journey of 6 hours at San Pedro Pochutla, where you transbordas a taxi, truck, van or jeepney, and prosigues to Puerto Angel, by traveling 15 minutes, 13 kilometers .
