San Agustinillo beach has an area of approximately one thousand 300 meters long, it is divided into three sections, whose widths averaging 40 meters, one of which is protected by the rocks and you can swim with ease by the softness of the waves; while strong waves occur in the open sea, located in the eastern part of the beach.

Rounding the headland north of Zipolite you come to San Agustinillo, another fine beach graced with good surfing waves (though you can also swim here). It has a more restrained vibe than Zipolite, with some charming and upmarket places to stay and eat. The sand is backed by restaurants, which offer space for a hammock or small rooms for rent in addition to reasonably priced, fresh seafood.
Get There
San Agustinillo beach is located west of Zipolite and access is by dirt road from Puerto Angel, journey that takes little more than twenty minutes; you can also access the beach by the sea from Puerto Angel.
By Road:
Puerto Angel is located south of the city of Oaxaca, 250 km on the federal highway No. 175. In the City of Oaxaca, on a journey of 6 hours at San Pedro Pochutla, where transhipped to a taxi, truck, van or jeepney, and prosigues to Puerto Angel, 15 minutes travel 13 kilometers.
