Beach Marinero is located east of Oaxaca near the Zicatela beach, divided by a small mound, where the gray and black of the rocks combine and contrast with the white of the waves. It is approximately 200 m by a width that varies between 40 and 50 m. The water is blue-green hues and fine sand is white. Puerto Escondido is located south of the city of Oaxaca, 265 km via highway 131. By Road, the place has 4 lines of trucks and luxury van service to the cd. Oaxaca: Estrella Blanca, Columbus, Estrella del Valle, Oaxaca Pacific This trip is made, usually in the Mexico-Acapulco highway. The approximate distance is 800 kms. Halfway is in Acapulco (400 kms.) If you are traveling. in a private vehicle, we recommend leaving early, not at night. The heavier section is from Acapulco to Puerto Escondido, as it is usually done in the afternoon with the most intense calo. The drive from Acapulco to Puerto Escondido lasts 6 hours, on average.

By Air:

By air, there are only two airlines: "Aerocaribe" with flights from the cd. of Mexico and Oaxaca, "Oaxacan airways" which only makes the journey from the City of Oaxaca.
