Camichín "Camichín Mouth" is located at the mouth of the Rio San Pedro, a vast stretch of sea forms one of the marshlands and swamps largest state, where significant amounts of shrimp are produced and other marine species such as oysters, sea bass, snapper, etc. This beach is visited by tourists to savor its rich cuisine prepared with fresh seafood. In this beach are boat rides to the area of the marshes through large canals and natural lagoons, with lush vegetation of mangroves, peyuque and tule. Wildlife consists of deer, puma, wild boar, raccoon, heron, crane, duck and others. It has a pier for a great walk to the "Isabel Island," National Park of extraordinary beauty, this island is considered Sanctuary and Player Center of thousands of seabirds.Furthermore you can admire majestic cliffs, islets, beautiful coral formations, beaches and a lagoon to the center.

Camichín mouth is located 72 km from Tepic by federal highways 15 and 54 and 36 km from Santiago Ixcuintla on Highway. 72.
By Road:
The bus station Tepic has outputs to different destinations in the country 24 hours a day offering different alternatives depending on the destination the traveler may have. If you prefer to go by road, you can from Mexico City and take the route Mexico - Guadalajara - Puerto Vallarta - Jarretaderas - Bucerías with a travel time of approximately eight hours and thirty minutes.
By air:
Outside of town just 10 km. away from Tepic Amado Nervo the airport, which has flights to all Mexico.
