Playa Manzanilla is located 500 meters from Miramar. It has an area of approximately 200 m long and 15 m wide, the sand is regular texture, light gray, with some areas of stones polished by the sea, the waves are gentle, the water is warm and the color temperature the water is light green. At a distance of 20 m an attractive stream flows where freshwater shrimp are grown. On the way you will find bungalows, spaces for RVs, camping areas and restaurants.A 9 km from Santa Cruz will find the Salto waterfall, access to which it requires a guide and is reached by an unpaved road, either on foot or horse. There are three waterfalls with a major drop of 30 m high, reaching a pool of basalt rock circular of 16 m in diameter, surrounded by lush jungle vegetation with a fantastic atmosphere.

Manzanilla is located north of Santa Cruz and 49 km from the city of Tepic in the Tepic-Jalcocotán-Santa Cruz highway.
By Road:
The bus station Tepic has outputs to different destinations in the country 24 hours a day offering different alternatives depending on the destination the traveler may have. If you prefer to go by road, you can from Mexico City and take the Mexico route - Guadalajara - Puerto Vallarta - Jarretaderas - Bucerías with a journey time of eight hours and thirty minutes approximately.
By air:
Just outside of town just 10 km. away from Tepic Amado Nervo is the international airport, which has flights to all Mexico.
