Get There
By Road:

Is reached through the Federal Highway 200 Tepic-Puerto Vallarta, connecting the north, south and central Mexico, allowing travel from major cities. The distance from Tepic (Nayarit state capital) and Nuevo Vallarta is 156 kilometers. The trip takes about two to three hours. If traveling by bus, simply stroll to Tepic, Nayarit. Arriving at the bus terminal will address another bus to Puerto Vallarta indicating the driver to stop at Nuevo Vallarta.

By Air:

Nuevo Vallarta has no airport, so you have to fly to nearby like Tepic and Puerto Vallarta.From there, the journey continues with a short drive by car or bus. The Gustavo Diaz Ordaz International Airport in Puerto Vallarta is the closest to Nuevo Vallarta. It is located less than 30 minutes away. The other option is to arrive at the Poet Amado Nervo National Airport of Tepic, which receives commercial and private flights. Then, to reach Nuevo Vallarta, you must perform a two or three hours by road.

By sea:

The Nuevo Vallarta marina can accommodate 270 boats. It cruise ships dock from the east and west coasts of the United States, and private boats.
