By Air:

Nuevo Vallarta has no airport, so you have to fly to nearby like Tepic and Puerto Vallarta.From there, the journey continues with a short drive by car or bus. The Gustavo Diaz Ordaz International Airport in Puerto Vallarta is the closest to Nuevo Vallarta. It is located less than 30 minutes away. The other option is to arrive at the Poet Amado Nervo National Airport of Tepic, which receives commercial and private flights.
