Beach warm temperatures, with water that goes from blue to green tone, ideal for a refreshing swim. The beach Corks has several kilometers. It extends southward to the mouth of the Rio Lerma "Santiago". It is several kilometers long and a hundred meters wide; the sand is fine-textured gold color with slopes and regular waves. The vegetation in this area are bushes with little palm trees, offers services boat rides along the coast and estuaries, has restaurants where dishes are prepared with fresh seafood and fish. It also has parking areas. At the mouth of the Rio Lerma, it offers a wide variety of marine and wildlife. Corks is one of the major fishing areas of the state.

Los Corchos beach is located 30 km from Santiago Ixcuintla by the federal highway. 72 and 107 km from Tepic.

By road:

Take the international highway 15 Mexico-Irapuato-Guadalajara-Tepic, or the 15-D Mexico-Morelia-Guadalajara-Tepic highway. Tepic should go to the municipality of Santiago Ixcuintla, with a distance of 63 km. The bus station Tepic has outputs to different destinations in the country 24 hours a day offering different alternatives depending on the destination the traveler may have.

By air:

Just outside of town just 10 km. away from Tepic Amado Nervo is the airport, which has flights to all Mexico.
