Caleta de Campos Bay is a beautiful mirror of water with yellow sands, where it is worth diving and fishing, and enjoy the tropical climate and nature in its purest form; it is ideal for swimming and water sports.

The whole village is situated on the cliffs. All stores have everything from fresh fish, vegetables, meats, casual beachwear. Small restaurants, 2 furriers, Internet service, mechanical service, medical services, which guarantee a successful stay.

It offers bungalows with ocean views and palapas to enjoy dishes based on fresh seafood. There are other nice beaches nearby Caleta de Campos Playa La Soledad, Pichilinguillo, Maruata, and the Ticla Beach. Very close to these beaches Nexpa mouth of the river. In the surroundings it is possible to find clear and calm waters ideal for scuba diving and spearfishing.

With a little luck you can catch delicious prawns, among some other varieties. Nearby you will find more beaches equally beautiful and quiet as the call Nexpa Beach and Carrizalillo latter, bordered by natural elevations and its rocky beaches surrounded by a splendid landscape. There are many rivers with estuaries to explore; also a waterfall just 20 minutes from Caleta.

For much of the year the place is virtually deserted, but in winter, when Californian beach boys come down in pursuit of sun and surf (the waves are perfect for beginners), and at weekends, when families from Lázaro Cárdenas pile in, it can take on crowds.

Caleta de Campos is 67 km from Lazaro Cardenas and 8 km west of La Manzanilla, along the road No. 209.
