Another of the longest beaches in the destination, located south of Zihuatanejo and one side of Long Beach is Playa Blanca. Here lies the renowned Barra de Potosi with many typical restaurants. You can take the bus to Petatlan and ask the driver to stop at the entrance of Barra de Potosi The Achotes happening. The Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo International Airport is just 15 minutes away from Zihuatanejo by car. You may find direct flights from some cities in Canada and the US especially during the tourist season between December and April.
