Puerto Vicente Guerrero (Puerto Escondido), is a fishing village that has one of the most beautiful beaches in the municipality of Tecpan de Galeana, Guerrero The name "PUERTO ESCONDIDO" le is because of its location, nestled between the sea and the mountains, because to get here is necessary to leave the federal highway, walking about 2 km, at the junction and travel on a paved road is in a position to allow the passage of any type of vehicle. It is in the year 1984 called "Puerto Vicente Guerrero" in honor of the finisher of independence. This place could divide into two parts, one is the port area, properly, workplace of most of the inhabitants of this place. Here you will find the pier for fishermen, fishing cooperatives where you can buy fresh seafood at reasonable prices. The subsistence and commercial fishing, diving and sport fishing is also practiced, as it has an annual fishing tournament sailfish. At the other end the beach is located in a small but beautiful bay. Here, the sea waters are deep blue and the sand is coarse on the beach and in the sea the sand is fine-grained and its waters are ideal for skiing and other water sports. There are several facilities that provide the food and beverage service, where you can enjoy delicious dishes from the sea.

Puerto Vicente Guerrero is located 48 km from the city of Tecpan de Galeana, heading north toward Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo and 87 km of it.

By road:

From Mexico City to Tecpan de Galeana and there are 465 km Acapulco 105 km, simply stroll to Coyuca de Benitez, pass San Jeronimo, Atoya Alvarez and a little further on is Tecpan de Galeana. Tecpan De Ixtapa Zihuatanejo there are 135 km. You can take a direct bus to Tecpan or go to Acapulco features three bus stations, the arriving units from major cities in central, north and south; or to Ixtapa Zihuatanejo which has a bus station just 2 kilometers from downtown. La Estrella de Oro and Estrella Blanca are some of the lines more confidence and security that made regular runs routes in the state of Guerrero.

By air:

From Acapulco: Take a flight to Acapulco that has a modern international airport, equipped with all the necessary to serve the thousands of travelers who come to this land, from the major cities and overseas infrastructure. From there take a truck to Tecpan de Galeana. In Ixtapa: Take a flight to Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo International Airport is just 15 minutes away from Zihuatanejo by car. You may find direct flights from some cities in Canada and the US especially during the tourist season between December and April. From there take a truck to Tecpan de Galeana.
