Juluapan Beach is located in the municipality of Manzanillo, in Colima, Mexico. This beach is excellent for tours around it and inaccessible places, since it is surrounded by rock formations and lush vegetation. The vast majority of the beaches are narrow and small, as called Elephant beach. Very close to the Reef is a high point of the peninsula Juluapan with restaurant; from where you can admire Higueras Cove; site where the sea bursts strongly on the rocks.
Get There
Juluapan is located 4 km west of Santiago, to the town of Miramar, then follow a path through dirt.
By Road:
The Bay of Santiago is 15 km from Manzanillo, which can be covered in about 20 minutes. From the city Colima, the state capital, by road it takes 1 hour and 20 minutes.
By air:
Take a flight to Manzanillo; the Playa de Oro International Airport, located 44 kilometers from downtown and 35 kilometers from the hotel zone. Here comes flights from the United States, Canada and major cities of país.existen direct flights from Los Angeles via AeroCalifornia and Alaska Airlines, Phoenix Satellite AmericaWest plus some seasonal charters. They can also make connections via Mexico City or Guadalajara.
