Bay whose sandy beaches facing the so-called Dead Sea, which owes its name to its more than 50 square kilometers, only a slight, almost "dead" waves is presented. It is ideal for water sports and boat rides.

Paredón Bay is located 12 kilometers south of the town of Tonala. Tonala is located 170 km from Tuxtla Gutierrez, the road leading to the town of Arriaga. Tuxtla Gutierrez is located 85 km from San Cristobal de las Casas.

By land:

Access to the county seat from Tonala, head of the region is by the federal highway 200. By air:

We suggest arriving at Francisco Sarabia Teran airport, located 12 km from Tuxtla Gutierrez . Mexico City is an hour and 20 minutes of nonstop; while the city of Guadalajara is three hours 20 minutes and Monterrey are four hours with 5 minutes. Tuxtla Gutierrez will have to move you by road.
