Is one of the main commercial and tourist ports of the Municipality of Comondu, in the federation of Baja California Sur. Year after year, in winter season arrive on the shores of the bay, thousands copies of cetaceans reach the Mexican coast to reproduce, coming from the cold coasts of Canada and the Arctic. These arrivals as attract innumerable tourists to enjoy the tranquility and peace that these specimens so unique. Seated in northern extensive Magdalena Bay, this small fishing port is considered one of the best spots for watching the gray whale. There you will find rent boats to take you for a great tour. Get There
Puerto Adolfo Lopez Mateos is located north of the Pacific Ocean, within Magdalena Bay, 256 kilometers from La Paz. Journeys lasting three hours drive road.

By land:

Magdalena Bay is located 57 kilometers from Ciudad Constitution and 216 km from La Paz.

You can get through the transpeninsular # 1 "Benito Juarez" road from Tijuana to Los Cabos. This road offers the services of Federal Highway Police, Green Angels and emergency services that can provide the authorities of the nearest town: Red Cross, Fire, Municipal Police, etc. We recommend: Do not drive at night (due to cattle), respect the signs and safety rules when traveling.
