Information
La Ventana is a fishing village located in the Sea of Cortez just 35 minutes from La Paz, Baja California.
It has a beautiful bay with several beaches where you can camp and enjoy nature.
Discovered by surfers for 15 years, La Ventana is now a place kitesurfing world renowned thanks to the stick side winds November to March, and its sandy bay that allows the practice of this sport in complete safety.
The village has various restaurants, bars and markets where you will find you need during your stay.
Get There
La Ventana is located 44 km from La Paz by the state highway. 286 turning left at km 39.
By land:
You can get through the transpeninsular # 1 "Benito Juarez" road from Tijuana to Los Cabos. This road offers the services of Federal Highway Police, Green Angels and emergency services that can provide the authorities of the nearest town: Red Cross, Fire, Municipal Police, etc.Recommendation: Do not drive at night (due to cattle), respect the signs and safety rules when traveling.
By air:
Domestic and international airports connect with the main cities of the country, the United States and Canada. The Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), located 15 km north of Los Cabos, international flights across America West, Alaska Airlines, Continental, Delta and Mexicana daily.They also get to Los Cabos flights from other cities of the American Union.
The International Airport of La Paz (LAP), located 10 km north of the city receives flights from Los Angeles, Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey, among other cities, through airlines like Aerocalifornia, Aeromexico and Aerolitoral daily .
Loreto International Airport (LTO) receives US flights connecting the cities of Los Angeles, Tucson and San Diego; Aerolitoral (AM) provides domestic flights.
By sea:
By sea via ferries traveling from Los Mochis and Mazatlan to La Paz and Santa Rosalia to Guaymas offering a variety of services.
