Shortly before arriving at the dock of the city of La Paz, there is a road that leads to Puerto Balandra, divers paradise or simply display equipment and snorkeling.

There is a rocky beach boundary line and then a series of caves and stone arches, very curious formations that make up a splendid seabed. In the estuaries abound schools of tuna, skipjack, smooth, sierra, barracuda, shark and shark green and pearl oysters.

The main attraction is diving in the harbor, camping, swimming, rowing, sailing and fishing.

Baja California has three international airports in La Paz, San Jose del Cabo and Loreto.

The International Airport of La Paz (LAP), located 10 km north of the city receives flights from Los Angeles, Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey, among other cities, through airlines like Aerocalifornia, Aeromexico and Aerolitoral daily .

The Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), located 15 km north of Los Cabos, international flights across America West, Alaska Airlines, Continental, Delta and Mexicana daily. They also get to Los Cabos flights from other cities of the American Union.

Loreto International Airport (LTO) receives US flights connecting the cities of Los Angeles, Tucson and San Diego; Aerolitoral (AM) provides domestic flights.

By sea:

Only 17 kilometers from La Paz is the commercial port of Pichilingue. Weekday passenger ships sail bound for Topolobambo and Mazatlan, in Sinaloa state. The trip takes five hours to the first port and 18 the second.
