Cultural Significance This archaeological site located in the valley of Juchipila Zacatecas, has been of vital importance as it seems in this valley where three traditions of great importance in the development of the western region of Mesoamerica: Chupícuaro, Morales and Bolaños, representing a very intense dynamics of population flows north from Mexico that later gave rise to the horizon Canutillo-Malpaso. By the sixteenth century Juchipila Valley is mentioned in the sources as Xochipilla referring to an important stronghold famous Mixtón War. Chronology: 300 BC. 1600 C. d. C.
