Information
Ocotelulco is Nahuatl word meaning "on the hill Pine" or "in place of the balls ocote". Fray Toribio de Motolinia meaning attributed by "in the neighborhood Pine."Cultural Significance During 1990 scans teocalli a small temple or on the terrace next to the church building of the community of San Francisco Ocotelulco was located. In this three construction phases they were identified; the second is a plastered staircase and the remains of another third largely destroyed following the arrival of the Spaniards. Get There
To access the archaeological site Ocotelulco reach the square of the city of Tlaxcala and Guridi and Alcocer street is taken. Two blocks down the street Ignacio Allende is taken up to the Julian Carrillo Avenue heading west. After passing the Red Bridge is the turning to the town of San Francisco Ocotelulco which five hundred meters ahead leads to the street Benito Juarez and the metal gate access to the archaeological site.
