"Guachimontones" is a colloquial word in the region to refer to "pyramid" or "structure."Cultural Significance Another name for this area is to Teuchitlán, for close to the municipal seat of the same name found it. Get There
Teuchitlán arriving from Guadalajara, taking the federal highway No. 15 Guadalajara - Nogales, west of the city. At the junction with Federal Highway 70, heading Tala is taken, later to take the No. 27 state road heading to Teuchitlán. The site is located about one kilometer northeast of the town of Teuchitlán. You go down the street Hilarion Romero Gil, Zaragoza and then finally by Benito Juarez. Visitors can reach the site by public transport;however, you must walk to the entrance of the site.
